Definition
A block bet is a small bet made by someone who is OOP in order to prevent a larger bet from their opponent.
Example
The board 3 flushed on the river and I didn\'t want to have to call a large bet. I fired a blocking bet of around 1/3 and hoped villain didnt raise.
