Definition
in 7 card variant game, a forced bet by a player which opens up the betting. In 7 stud high or 7 stud 8 or better the bring in is the lowest value card exposed (determined by rank and then by suite), in razz the highest value card is the bring in. The bring in amount is determined by the poker room/casino but it is always higher then the ante and smaller then the small bet. The bring in player is the first player to act on 3rd street
Example
Unbelievable, I had to bring it in for 5 hands in a row
