Definition

The Independent Chip Model. This model is used to give our tournament chips a cash value and try and determine how much each additional chip. ICM is very helpful in determining the correct play in games such as SNGs and DONs, but can also be used for larger tournaments after the bubble. For more information, see https://flopturnriver.com/pokerforum/icm-what-it-is-and-what-it-does-t17868.html https://flopturnriver.com/pokerforum/icm-calcs-calling-ai-after-raising-pushing-over-raise-t49674.html

Example

I didnt even know about ICM before I joined Flopturnriver. Afterwards, I realized that needlessly risking my stack in a DON was pretty silly.
