Definition

When it is your turn to act, you are said to be acting "in turn", and any action or verbal declaration you make is binding Actions or statements regarding what you intend to do made "out of turn" may or may not be binding depending on your casino or card room.

Example

Villain folded out of turn causing much confusion for the players yet to act.
