Definition

In live poker, deliberately announcing that one has a better hand than one actually has, in the hope that another player folds. In many casinos, this is considered a form of angle shooting, and some casinos will permit a floorman to award the pot to a player who is induced to muck his cards by a player miscalling his hand.

Example

Villain has 46 and the board is 57JK9. Villain announces that he has a straight and another player mucks his pair of kings. Villain has miscalled his hand, and some casinos will permit the floorman to award the pot to the other player.
