Definition
ptBB stands for poker tracker big bet.
Big Bet is a term derived from Limit holdem, where there are two bet sizes – the big blind pre-flop and on the flop, and 2xthe big blind on the turn and river. Hence a big bet is 2x the big blind.
This term is often used by people when describing win-rates, as an early poker database programme (poker tracker) measured winrates in big bets/100 hands.
People now often use the abbreviation ptBB/100 to describe winrates – as in poker tracker big bets/100 hands.
Example
Wow, I\'m crushing 25nl. I\'m running 8ptBB/100 over 40k hands. Time to move up.
