Definition
A tell refers to a hint, other than betting tendencies, that may help reveal their opponent’s likely hand. Tells can be in the time it takes to call/raise (usually online) or the physical gestures seen at a live table.
Example
I thought I was beat but villain flashed his tell that indicated weakness. I made the call and he showed his stone bluff.
