Definition
One of the best ways to gain information on your opponent’s hand. Typically occurring in online poker, timing tells refers to the amount of time your opponent took before making a certain action. In general the faster your opponent acts the more likely he/she is to have a very strong or weak hand. Those who take longer to decide will have some sort of medium strength hand.
Example
I have a timing tell on him, when he instantly checks the turn he has nothing.
