Absolute Poker has recently announced the signing of its newest poker pro, Lacey Jones. Lacy, who is also a model, joins another young poker star, Matt Vengrin, as the newest faces of the Absolute Poker brand.
Lacey Jones began her poker career in 2005, when she was hired as a model to play in a charity poker tournament by ESPN. She ended up finishing 32nd out of a field of 360 players, proving that she was more than just a pretty face in the poker world.
Jones modeling career has included a number of major venues. She has worked for Daimler-Chrysler, and has done runway modeling for major clothing labels such as Max and Co and Playboy Leather Collection. She has also appeared on the HBO hit series Entourage, The O.C. on Fox Television and on NBC’s hit series Las Vegas. Just last year she was named the Hottest Woman in Poker by Wicked Chops Poker and she also appeared on the cover of Bluff Magazine. Additionally, she was the co-host of The Real Deal at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
“I’m so excited about this amazing new chapter of my career with Absolute Poker,” stated Lacey. “Our fit couldn’t be more perfect and I can’t wait to share all of the amazing stuff that’s in store with the AP community.”
