Everybody remembers the heist at the EPT Berlin two weeks ago. All four suspects were arrested by Saturday night. On Sunday night, a 28-year old Lebanese man, who may have been the mastermind behind the heist, was also arrested.
The Lebanese man is described my police to be the “organizer and brains behind the operation.” The man also drove the getaway car. In total, five men have been arrested in connection the the crime.
A masked gang of four men carrying handguns and knives raided the Hyatt hotel and made off with €242,000 in tournament prize money. The raid was captured on TV.
Investigators are still searching for the €242,000 stolen in the daytime raid.
