When the United States Department of Justice published its September 2011 opinion on the Wire Act of 1961, it opened up doors everywhere when it was determined that the act only applies to sports gaming bets. Beneficial Holdings Incorporated is one such corporation moving forward domestically to offer online gaming.

Beneficial has applied for a Nevada Intrastate Gaming License to offer online casino games to Nevada residents. Partnered with a licensed casino operator, the iGaming license would allow Beneficial to offer “certain” online games. Plus, Nevada Regulation 5A would provide for a further reach of online gaming. Checking in at a non-gaming hotel in Nevada, gamers may quite possibly be able to join the casino action in their hotel rooms.

In the meantime, Beneficial is putting systems in place to offer Poker and hopes to soon offer Live Dealer Games as regulations allow for further expansion into other areas of play. Beneficial is a Nevada based company. But, it manages, develops, operates and invests in hotels and gaming facilities throughout Central America. Although, Beneficial is looking to reduce its holdings on non-gaming assets in order to secure the funds it needs to moving forward in the gaming industry.

Beneficial owns and operates bet.cr and sportsbook.cr, but is not offered in the US as of now. It is, however, a publicly traded gaming and hospitality management company with stocks currently at $0.0002. Not to be taken as expert trading advice, but the current license application might definitely make a significant impact on the stock’s future health.

In a statement from Beneficial, “The company is in negotiations with several consultants who work with Nevada licensed casinos to finalize a joint venture agreement.” As of now, Beneficial is locating facilities in Nevada in order to find a headquarters for its technology.  The move seems inevitable, but waiting on the license is a patient and enduring process.
