There hasn’t been much World Series of Poker news lately besides the hundreds (maybe thousands) of news stories and opinionated pieces that have dropped since the WSOP announced its final table move.

Luckily, a breath of fresh air has come in the form of Bodog Poker which just recently released its odds of which celebrity will win the most money in the 2008 WSOP Main Event.

Leading the list of “celebrities” is Bodog Poker’s own in Daniel Negreanu at 5/2 odds and Justin Bonomo at 3/1. This seems kind of strange considering Negreanu is definitely a celebrity in the poker world and Bonomo is becoming more well-known but they’re also pros.

Anyway, the celebrities who aren’t so poker gifted that are offered in the odds include James Woods, Shannon Elizabeth, and Yevgeny Kafelnikov at 5/1. Jennifer Tilly comes in at the same odds but has gotten good enough to where you could almost put her in with the Negreanu/Bonomo group.

Montel Williams is after this group at 13/2 while Ben Affleck, Norm MacDonald, and Boris Becker all are at 9/1.  Positioned below these celebs are Ray Romano, Brad Garrett, Jason Alexander, and Tobey Maguire who have 14/1 odds of winning according to BodogLife.com.  Jose Canseco and Lennox Lewis bottom-out the list at 30/1 odds for winning the most money.

Make sure to check out the Main Event which begins on July 3rd to see how these odds play out.
