Bodog has announced its Bodog Poker Open IV online poker tournament series, which will run November 1st through November 8th, and the hunt is now on for who will be the next Bodog Poker Champion.

Seven events make up this year’s run of the Poker Open.  Buy-ins range from $55 all the way up to $500 for the Championship Event.  Each tournament also has one buy-in to the Championship Event added to the prize pool $500 tournament dollars (T$500).  Most of the tournaments are no limit Texas Hold’em, with Events 5 and 6 shaking things up a bit with pot limit and limit.  The tournament series as a whole has $60,000 in added money, and $25,000 of that alone is for the Championship Event.

The winner of the Championship Event will be treated to a welcoming chunk of cash, a feature spread in Card Player Magazine, coverage in Bodog’s article section, a high-profile feature status in Bodog Poker’s poker beats section, and of course be awarded with the title of Bodog Poker Champion!

If you want the title of Poker Champion, but don’t have the cash to spare for the Championship Series, then play in the Bodog Poker Open IV Contender Series.  It runs during the same time period as the Championship Series and features 8 events.  Buy-ins for the events range between just $6 and $27.50, with a $50 entry for the Contender Series Main Event.  The winner of each Contender Series event will be awarded T$500 for entry into the Championship Event and the top eight finishers will be awarded T$50 for entry into the Contender Series Main Event where $2500 will be added to the prize pool.

Don’t miss out on your chance as Bodog Poker searches for their next Poker Champion!  Satellites are already underway for Event 1 on the series and a full schedule of the satellites can be viewed on the Bodog website.
