Bovada is roaring toward the halfway point in their new Black Diamond Poker Open. Following the successful completion of their Contender Series (during which they handed out more than $100,000 in guaranteed cash), the company is gearing up for the stretch run in their Championship Series.

In total, Bovada is planning to hand out more than $600,000 over the course of the series. With six events already in the books, they’re well on their way. The Black Diamond Poker Open’s second portion began on March 19, and is scheduled to run through April 1. Satellites are available several times a day, allowing players to win their way into tournaments for a fraction of the entry cost.

The Championship Series roster is leading up to a $250,000 Guaranteed Main Event, scheduled for Sunday, April 1 at 4:00 PM Eastern Time. This event features a $425+$25 buy-in, with No Limit Hold’em gameplay. The winner will receive at least $50,000, as well as an engraved watch.

The final event in the Black Diamond Poker Open (a Second Chance $25K Guarantee tourney) is scheduled to take place three hours later. This last competition will cost $150+$12 per seat.
