Chilipoker.com and D4 Events today announced the finalization of an exclusive three-year partnership for the “European Chilipoker Deepstack Open” in Dublin. This exciting deal enables Chilipoker.com to become the official sponsor of next month’s tournament with continued sponsorship for the events in 2011 and 2012.
“The European Deepstack Poker Championship 2010 by Chilipoker” will take place at the Ballsbridge Inn Hotel in Dublin from February 4th to February 7th, with a total of 7 scheduled events. The €500 + €50 Main Event is already sold out with 400 registered players. The ‘deepstack’ structure of this event makes it a very attractive tournament for poker players: with a massive 50,000 starting stack and blind levels of 60 and 90 minutes, the Main Event will be played over 3 days, with the Final Table expected on Sunday 7th.
Direct registrations for the Main Event are now closed, however Chilipoker.com is giving you the last opportunities to qualify for this event. Thanks to an exclusive online Super Satellites on January 26th, 20:00 CET, Chilipoker.com is offering at least 2 guaranteed seats.
This partnership is the next step for Chilipoker.com after the signed agreement with the Ireland based Sports TV ‘Setanta Sports’, which resulted in the exciting launch of website: Setantabet.com. As a result of this partnership the ‘Chilipoker Deepstack Open Dublin’ will therefore be broadcasted on TV both in 2011 and 2012, thus benefiting from European and International exposure.
“We are looking forward to working with Chilipoker.com to make the “Chilipoker Deepstack Open Dublin” the biggest and best loved poker tournament on the European poker scene. The event has already captured the imagination of the poker playing masses with the 2010 event selling out 400 seats one month before the tournament starts. We are very confident that working alongside Chilipoker.com as main event sponsors we will be bringing over 1000 players to Dublin in 2011” says Michael Lancey, co-founder of D4 Events with Brian Lannon.
“After the agreement with Setanta Sports, Chilipoker.com is very proud to be going one step further in Ireland by sponsoring a tournament that is highly praised by the French player community. With a €550 buy-in and an exceptional deepstack structure, this event is guaranteed to give every player the opportunity to enjoy the game. We are convinced our partnership with D4 Events will ensure this event will be even more successful in the next 3 years.” says Alexandre Dreyfus, Chilipoker.com CEO.
Chiligaming was established in 2006 by French entrepreneur Alexandre Dreyfus. Its headquarters are in Malta where it employs more than 40 people. The company was listed in the EGR Power50 for the first time in 2009. As well as this deal with D4 Events, Chiligaming recently completed a deal with Iliad-Free, a major French telecommunications company (4.3 millions household) to provide exclusive online betting and poker solutions. In 2009 it was signed an exclusive three-year agreement with WPTE and organized the first WPT Marrakech ever.
