If you have always dreamed of winning a World Poker Tour (WPT) event, you are not alone. The WPT has run some of the most prestigious poker tournaments in the world for several years now. If you are lucky enough to win a package and you choose to play in the WPT Borgata, you are off to Atlantic City to play in one of the hottest casinos for USA players. Your package includes $3,500 to buy-in to the Main Event, $1,500 for accommodations, and $3,000 to pay for travel (or anything else your heart desires). You would be traveling between September 16th and September 23rd.
If you choose to play the WPT Malta, you’re going to the other side of the Ocean to the Mediterranean. This package is a bit different from the Atlantic City package. The buy-in is a bit higher at $5,050, and the accommodations are also more costly at $2,050. This means you will only receive $900 for travel or spending money.
In the end, you should choose depending on how much money you need or what piques your interest the most. If you have been to Atlantic City countless times, you’ll probably want to go to Malta. Or if you want the freedom to spend a bunch of money on entertainment, you might want to go for WPT Borgata. Whatever you choose, you are sure to have the time of your life. WPT tournaments also attract some big name players, so perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to sit with your favorite poker celebrity!
