In the latest step in the Full Tilt Poker drama, Daniel Negreanu, who has never been afraid to speak his mind or call out unscrupulous activity, has made a wild and angry vlog pertaining to his opinions on the former owners and operators of Full Tilt Poker. Daniel had previously made comments on his poker blog that Howard Lederer, Raymond Bitar and Chris Ferguson, who are considered the main minds behind Full Tilt, deserve to be beaten in the genitals with baseball bats. While some in the poker world viewed this as harsh, Negreanu revisits these words in his vlog, a video blog, by saying he thinks it would be completely justified to have someone who has money trapped on Full Tilt to beat these men senseless, in what he calls ‘old school vegas style.’ He further clarifies that he is not suggesting that people should do this.

His vlog continues to detail that Bovada was built on the advertisement “Learn, Chat, and Play with the Pros” yet all of these so called “Pros” have mysteriously gone silent. In Daniel’s mind this means they are guilty of everything arrayed against them and are what he would call “flat out scumbags” as well as “shameful little weasels.” He continues to personally ask Howard whether or not he knew if Full Tilt was insolvent when Full Tilt Poker was still accepting deposits from the rest of the world after Black Friday occurred. He asks this question rhetorically because he already knows the answer. Yes, Howard did know, and that to Daniel is unforgivable. He calls for all the “Pros” that were behind Full Tilt who have done nothing to help those who have been hurt and have remained silent to be shunned away from the poker world forever. He finishes it by stating they all deserve to go to prison and he hopes that they do.

Now as someone who played on Full Tilt Poker post Black Friday, and was duped into thinking that everything was okay at Bovada, I feel the same way as Daniel and I have to imagine that a lot of people agree. Here’s the truth, many people, Americans and Non-Americans alike, have funds trapped on Full Tilt and we have heard nothing from Full Tilt since they went dark on June 29th 2011. That is, and should be, unacceptable to the entire poker community. To keep us ignorant about what happened and what is currently happening is downright despicable, especially when people’s money is on the line. A lot of people had their livelihood trapped on Full Tilt and I can’t possibly imagine how that must feel to not know whether to give up hope and move on or to keep waiting for news every day. The poker world applauds Daniel’s audacity to slam Howard, Ray and Chris after we’ve all given them ample time to do the right thing, to keep us informed or to at least give us some idea whether we will ever see a penny of our Full Tilt money again.
