FTOPS XI has been an enormous hit so far, with huge fields creating large prize pools in the first 12 events. Event 13, the $200+$16, one re-buy one add-on tournament followed suit. The tournament had a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool, which was easily eclipsed. 1,210 players re-bought 861 times and 805 players took advantage of the first break add-on to create a $575,200 prize pool.
FullTilt Pro Dag Mikkelsen hosted the event which saw three FullTilt Pro’s make the money including Stuart Paterson, Martin Klaeser, and WPT and WSOP Bracelet holder David Pham. All in all 24 FullTilt Red Pro’s would play including high-stakes professional Richard “CHUFTY” Ashby, WSOP bracelet winner Eick Lidgren, and the one and only Mike “the mouth” Matusow.
Heading into the final table two players stood out from the rest. “Kroko-dill”, winner of FTOPS X Event 24 for over $113,000 this past August, had a nice stack along with “darrenelias” who finished 2nd in the $1k Monday for nearly $59,000 last February and has multiple wins in big buy-in events on PokerStars.

Early on in heads-up play “Kroko-dill” won a huge pot all-in PF with AK vs. AQ. The big pot gave him nearly a 10:1 chip-lead. However, with in 10 hands darrenelias would double his stack twice, cutting kroko-dill’s chip lead down to just 3:2. Darrenelias would take the chip lead after winning pot in which both players flopped two pair. Eventually darrenelias would assume a big chip-lead, and with a fortunate turn card took down the championship and over $126,000:
