Poker Legend Returns to Aviation Club de France this week. EMOP qualifiers get underway at DevilfishPoker.com.

(February 9, 2010) – DevilfishPoker.com today announced its poker ambassador Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott is returning to Paris this week to defend his Euro Finals of Poker title. Last year Ulliott defeated 151 opponents in the €5,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em Diamond Championship main event at the Aviation Club de Paris to win the €152,000 top prize.

Ulliott, currently in Gran Canaria working on his eagerly awaited autobiography, has just come from his first cash of the year where he lead Team Devilfish at the European Masters of Poker.

The UK poker legend said of his impending trip to Paris, “I’m really looking forward to defending my title there after a nice break in the sun and going deep at EMOP Gran Canaria. Like last year my poker is just getting warmed up and if I get the chance to steamroll the field like I did in 2009 you can be sure I’ll take it down.”

Elsewhere at DevilfishPoker.com online qualification for EMOP Lisbon is now underway with EMOP freerolls every second day at the site from February 10 to 28, awarding a package worth €1,450 to the winner.

Additionally at DevilfishPoker.com this month there are 10 €1,450 EMOP Lisbon packages up for grabs in the three-tournament EMOP Challenge at the end of February. The top 10 players who perform best over the three tournaments will win the packages.

Players can qualify at DevilfishPoker.com for as little as €2 or 200 VIP points.

The €1,100 buy-in EMOP Lisbon man event takes place at Casino Estoril, Lisbon, Portugal from March 25 to 28, 2010.
