EPT

Have you ever dreamed about a final table so awesome it might be a herald of the apocalypse? If you have, stop reading now, or you are never going to sleep tonight.

This year’s final table may be a precursor to the end of the universe, as it’s just that stacked full of present and future poker legends.

We have two players going for the title of the first double EPT Champion, and one going for his Triple Crown.

We also have former EPT Final Table visitors who have fallen just short of the final hurdle.

In short, this is the EPT Final Table that we have been waiting for since the beginning of the tour. We go into tomorrow with eight players, any of whom would most likely be the favourite at any other EPT Final Table, there really isn’t a weak seat here.

Steve O’Dwyer has the chip lead heading into the final day, and the seemingly perpetual EPT runner up has 4,452,000 chips to start off his run to final get that elusive EPT Title.

The only other player with more than two million in chips is Andrew Pantling with 4,180,000, and he was the one to burst the final table bubble when he eliminated Freddy Deeb in 9th place.

With the seating already decided, the Final table is going to look like this:

Seat 1 – Jake Cody –1,633,000
Seat 2 – Jason Mercier – 824,000
Seat 3 – Andrew Pantling – 4,180,000
Seat 4 – Grant Levy – 786,000
Seat 5 – Steve O’Dwyer – 4,452,000
Seat 6 – Daniel Negreanu –1,581,000
Seat 7 – Noah Schwartz – 1,068,000
Seat 8 – Johnny Lodden – 1,402,000

With the blinds at 15k/30k with a 4k ante, there is still a lot of play to be had at his table, and I’ll be keeping my eye very much on the action tomorrow on the FTR hosting of the Live Stream, as I don’t want to miss a second of this action.

Will Jake Cody or Jason Mercier be the first double EPT Champion? Will Daniel Negreanu become a triple crown winner? Will Steve O’Dwyer get his third runner up spot in an EPT? I really don’t know, but i do know I can’t wait to find out.
