Esfandiari recently announced his goal to raise at least $10,000 for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on a fundraising page that can be found on the hospital’s website. On his page, the poker star wrote, “It’s my personal goal to raise 10,000 dollars in the next 7 days. Please help me reach my goal! Whether it’s $10 or $1,000 every penny counts. IT’S FOR THE CHILDREN!!! Thank you all.”
And, people responded to Esfandiari’s words with impressive generosity. At the time of publication, Esfandiari had not only met his goal, he had exceeded it! To date, the star’s page has recorded a total of $30,250 in donations made to support the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital!
