Here in May is the second ever European Championship of Online Poker, otherwise known as ECOOP II. This is a high paced online poker tournament lasting ten days where the best of the best duke it out for high stakes. In 2007 the ECOOP gave away 2.5 million dollars, and the stakes have gone up to 3.6 million dollars in 2008. That’s 3.6 million bucks spread over eleven tournaments in ten days.
This tournament starts on the 23rd of May 2008 and ends on June 1st. With even more incentive there’s an ECOOP II leader board, and the people who place on that get a seat in a $50,000 freeroll taking place after the Main Event.
