The PokerStars EPT Berlin Main Event has played it’s way down to the final 24 players, all of whom are guaranteed to be taking home at least €27,000. The event started with 912 players over 2 starting days, creating a first place prize of €880,000, that all of the players at the final three tables are aiming for.

The Event is due to play down to the final 16 players tonight, and will return tomorrow to play down to the Final 8, who will finish the Event and crown a champion on Saturday. Of course the EPT isn’t just about the Main Event, the €10,000 High Roller Event kicked off today, and is already attracting the cream of the European High Roller fraternity.

EPT regular Kevin MacPhee gave an indication how tough the field via his twitter account, and I’m glad I’m not having to play this event:

All of the action from the Main event is being streamed live by PokerStars, and FlopTurnRiver.com is hosting the stream as well. Just click on the banner below to watch, and also keep up to date with the tweets to the commentators on the same page.

We are also putting the password to the EPT Freeroll on that page everyday, as soon as we can, and you can play for your share of $1,500 absolutely free on PokerStars.
