Have you ever wanted to play poker on the tallest mountain in the world? Well, Everest Poker has teamed with Volvo to give players just such a chance. In one of Germany’s most exciting live poker events, card lovers from across the globe will be treated to a weekend of skiing, snowboarding, archery, and of course, one of the most unique poker experiences in the history of the game.

On the weekend of March 19-21, the mountains of Salzburg, Austria on the Kitzsteinhorn will play host to the Everest Poker Volvo Ice Camp. Lucky players will be granted a seat in the Everest Igloo, at a final table sitting around 2,500 meters above sea-level!

In order to qualify for this amazing experience, players must visit the “Scheduled Tournaments” tab in the Everest Software. There, in the “Private” area, you’ll find the Qualifier fürs Volvo Ice Camp, to be held on March 7 at 19:00 GMT.

The game of choice will be No Limit Texas Hold’em, with starting stacks of 2,000 chips. Blinds start at 5/10 and will be jacked up every 10 minutes. Tables are slated to host groups of 10 players, all of whom must buy in for $1.

Another qualifier will be held on March 11 at the same time, 19:00 GMT. Players will once again be treated to ten-seat action with a $1 buy in, featuring No Limit Texas Hold’em gameplay with the same 2,000 chip stacks.

Those who make it through the qualifiers will also receive accommodations from a 4-star hotel all throughout the Everest Volvo weekend.

For those not fluent in the German language, fear not. While the event may indeed be geared toward our Bavarian brothers, there is no official country restriction. Players from across the globe are welcome to compete, just so long as they bring their own pair of mittens!
