Their Snowball Freerolls promotion will be giving players a chance to take home a share of a potential $55,000 prize pool.
The Snowball is a series of freerolls played over the month of December that will increase its prize pool depending on the number of players that registered for the prior week’s tournament. The first Snowball Freeroll will guarantee a $2,500 prize pool. The second Snowball Freeroll, to be played the following week, will have the same base prize pool of $2,500 plus $1 for every player who participated in the first Snowball Freeroll. The following Snowball Freerolls will add $1 to the prize pool for every player that participated in the prior freerolls. With a maximum player field of 7,500, up to $7,500 may be added to the prize pool each week. This means the fourth Snowball Freeroll is guaranteed to be the biggest one with a potential prize pool of $25,000. The Snowball Freerolls will run every Saturday night at 20:00 GMT.
Players must qualify for each week’s Snowball Freerolls. They may win their way in by placing in the top 10 of either the Super Satellite Freerolls or the 250 SP Satellites that both run ten times daily. Players may also earn 10 Summit Points every day of the week or earn 300 total Summit Points for that week to qualify for the week’s corresponding Snowball Freeroll. New members that make their first deposit will also gain entry into that week’s Snowball Freeroll. Lastly, players that Refer a Friend will be registered for the Snowball Freeroll.
