It was game 19 of the 6th season of the Gauntlet, and everyone came ready to spew chips left at right. If you are not sure what the Gauntlet is, be sure to click on the word “Gauntlet” to find out and register. Basically, it is FTR’s own private league where we donk around and have fun. You will see in a lot of the hand histories there is some bashing/talking, and that’s because we all know each other and have a good time. If you haven’t already, register and play with us next game. With only 5 games left, this was some players last game of the season. For some others, it was their second last. It is getting close to the end, and usually that means participation is very slim for the last few games. However, I hope that may change if some big names who usually don’t play find the time to play the last few. Game 19 hosted 17 people, which has been around the average lately. There was a rare appearance by FTR’s very own little guy dwarfman, and everyone was hoping for some girl on girl action with courtibee and ackthecat both registered. Previous Gauntlet champions I Like Pie and fimanoid were here to battle, along with chardrian, kmind, swiggidy, and bigspenda. We will have to see if swigg or spenda pull ahead in their prop bet; after game 18 spenda currently is ahead by 20 or so points, but swiggidy has three games left to play when spenda only has 2. Now that isn’t an easy call to make with AK there. After kmind pushes he has to know he is against QQ+ or another AK, but he was getting a good price and is only a slight underdog against that range.
