Well we’re fresh into the beginning of a new month on the Full Tilt Leaderboards – only one week in! The air is beginning to warm up, especially around here in the northern states, and spring will soon be showing its true colors. The only thing that would make this month any sweeter would be a 1st place MTT or SNG win behind your belt. The leaderbaords have been wiped clean and players have been given another chance to shine and climb to a place in the top ten.
At a quick glance I’m noticing a lot of new players in the MTT top ten, something I’m getting a little used to as the months progress. The high limit SNG Leaderboard is showing several of the consistent regulars as usual. Despite having a couple consistent regulars on the low limit SNG Leaderboard, it’s showing a lot of newer players taking a shot at a leaderboard victory.
Remember, FlopTurnRiver keeps track of the FTP Leaderboard results daily and keeps them archived on the Full Tilt network page which can be found here: Leaderboard-Calendar. Simply scroll down to the leaderboard section and select whichever day you feel like viewing. It’s a great way to see how players are progressing as time goes on.

Let’s take a look at today’s top ten:
Current April 8th Top Ten MTT Leaders:
1 acumen53 5877.20
2 jse81 4635.40
3 PimpinDonks 4327.10
4 BRO20 4160.30
5 fan4mizzou 4108.60
6 Pimpnuho 4058.10
7 rdcrsn 3890.70
8 easymisi 3803.40
9 eat da fish 3521.90
10 Rounder63 3473.00
First place today is acumen53, a player that hasn’t yet had a chance to grace us with its presence. Currently, acumen53 has a decent sized chiplead with 5,877.20 over 2nd place’s chipstack of 4327.10. Being that it’s so early in the month with three more weeks of play left it’s really anyone’s game. Someone at the bottom of the list at 250th place certainly has the time to climb the ranks and pull first place out of acumen’s hands. I don’t know if any of the regular MTT winners are on vacation or if they’re just off to a late start, but this top ten is filled with people who haven’t made it in the top ten recently or my analysis at all for that matter.
In 6th place, Pimpnuho is the only name I recognize as having anything noteworthy to mention. Visiting memory lane, for the overall month of December, Pimpnuho managed to secure himself a pretty nice 2nd place win taking home the $500 prize plus Entry! In that month, Pimpnuho had grown fond of 2nd place and spent most of his time in that very spot. He had also quickly become one of my favorite contenders in the MTT Leaderboard. Sadly to say, after December he dropped from the top ten without a trace and had never returned until now. Now, in 6th place Pimpnuho has returned and I expect to see some good things from him this month if he decides to stick around long enough.
With it being so early, and the amount of unfamiliar players occupying the top ten real estate, there isn’t much to talk about as of yet. We’ll have to wait and see what type of action these players can bring to the table in the coming weeks!
Current April 8th Top Ten SNG Leaders – High Limit:
1 phatchoy888 11476.70
2 Mement_mori 10141.40
3 jeppg1111 10099.90
4 time4sumakshun 9300.80
5 moneyinthebank1 8418.80
6 Saint Annie 7826.10
7 beanmo 5965.60
8 pareshjain 5427.20
9 MGDOGG 5358.90
10 adb235 4775.30
When we talk about conistency, we’re talking about phatchoy888. This player has continually made his presence felt on each top ten for several months. The only month I hadn’t noticed him placing within the top ten spots was in February. In December phatchoy888 took home a 3rd place win, which happened to be his highest overall position since I’ve been covering the FTP Leaderboards. Again in January he secured a spot in 8th place overall. Though I didn’t find him in the top ten for February, I wouldn’t at all be surprised if he had not lingered very close to the 10th place cutoff. Rest assured, for March he was back on top at 9th place overall. After having been a part of the top ten for so long it’s nice to finally see him in 1st place. One cannot contest, phatchoy888 is a skilled player and knows his craft well. We’ll just have to see if he knows it well enough to hold onto his spot and secure it at the end of the month.
Mement_mori has been in the top ten before but has never stuck around long enough to be awarded a top ten win for the overall month. He’s now in a close 2nd place with roughly 1k in chips behind. jeppg1111 is currently in 3rd place this week. jeppg has also been in the top ten numerous times and has made his presence known far more than Mement_mori. For both February and March jeppg1111 held an overall win of 5th place for those months. In the months leading up to February jeppg1111 layed relatively low as I did not see him around.
time4sumakshun is probably the most skilled player in the top ten right now, hands down. As far as consistency, he has appeared in the top ten more months, weeks, and even days than anyone on the board. Not only has he been in the top ten but he’s spent most of his time in the top half of it. Last month, for March, time4sumakshun scored himself a nice 1st place finish netting him an extra $1k in cash plus Entry. Today in 4th place, he’s a force to be reckoned with and players above him will have to work hard to keep him down. moneyinthebank1, like time4sumakshun, is another talented player who has spent a great deal of time in the high limit SNG top ten. moneyinthebank1 has demonstrated a bit more fluctuation within the top ten than time4sumakshun but has remained up there regardless, which is impressive. The only other notable position I see right now is beanmo in 7th place. beanmo is another consistent player who can be found in the top ten often if not every time.
Current April 8th Top Ten SNG Leaders – Low Limit:
1 MajorPolk 3970.60
2 number1luckyone 3731.80
3 Gary212121 2924.10
4 Dingens 2918.70
5 wittenberg3 2570.90
6 WPTfuji 2281.70
7 Aleatoris 2216.80
8 Pulsatilla 2161.70
9 four32765 2147.20
10 kokmus 2128.90
MajorPolk has spent some minor time in the low limit SNG top ten, but according to my past analysis has never secured a notable overall position in or out of the top ten. Today he’s occupying 1st place with a small chip lead of about 200 chips over number1luckyone, another name that doesn’t ring any bells. In 3rd, 4th and 5th are Gary212121, Dingens and wittenberg3, respectively. I don’t recognize these three players as ever achieving a notable position either.
In the middle of the top ten at 6th place, WPTfuji holds strong. I remember back in December, fuji landed an overall 7th place win. Around that time he had been spending a lot of time in the top ten but I haven’t seen him around recently. Looking a few more places down the list I see kokmus currently in 10th place. Looking at the current top ten, I think the two players who the others need to be wary of are WPTfuji and kokmus as they’ve achieved a heck of a lot more on the Full Tilt Leaderboards than the others have. kokmus has spent a lot of time in the top ten, moreso than WPTfuji and has secured several top ten overall wins. Most of kokmus’s time has been in the lower portion of the top ten, however for the overall month of March he scored a 1st place win for the low limit SNG board! Though off to a slower start than others, kokmos is probably on his way to 1st place and I wouldn’t expect for it to be very long from now.
I’m wondering what happened to all the major powerhouses in this low limit SNG board. Players like Rebellz, bedsore, einsammy, bethwolf22 and others have completely dropped off the face of the earth. For the longest time these players dominated the top ten and completely annialated anyone trying to steal their positions. No one has since looked so fitting in 1st place than Rebellz did when he was playing at the top of his game back around December.

As we reach the halfway mark into April we’ll discuss who’s likely to continue climbing the ranks for a top ten win, who’s likely to drop past 10th place and what players are holding their positions like a rock.
