A number of other events also ran over the weekend, beginning with the Friday Night Fights on Friday afternoon. This 6-handed knockout event had 91 entrants and guaranteed $30,000 in prize money. The prize pool ended up being $36,400, with a substantial $11,011 going to the winner, ‘gismoR1.’

The $1K Monday has a guaranteed prize pool of $75,000, and its high buy-in makes satellite tournaments a good way to go to gain entry. Despite having only 82 entrants, the event beat its guarantee and had a hefty prize pool of $82,000. The victor, ‘daniel levi1’, took home $26,240, and has had some tournament success in addition to his presence in the high stakes world.
