Sandra Naujoks, a new addition to Team Full Tilt, made a major move at the 2008 Casinos Austria Poker Tour (CAPT) Baden European Poker Championship.  Two champions and one overall performance winner were presented awards.  Naujoks won the first Texas Hold’em European Poker Championship.  The other championship was won by Fabrizio Leonardi for Seven Card Stud.  Fellow Team Full Tilt Pro Markus Lehmann won the 2008 Overall Performance award.  The tournament lasted from October 5th until October 12th at the Grand Casino Baden.

Sandrea Naujoks entered the final heads-up table as short stack, but was determined not to go out.   She played smart against Russia’s Alex Kravtchenko, slowly eating at his chip lead until she was able to take it all with a pair of eights.  Naujoks was able to take away the victory bracelet and €174,500.  Stefan Rapp, another Team Full Tilt Pro, didn’t finish too far behind in third place.

This is Naujoks biggest victory thus far.  Other noteworthy finishes have been in GIGA-TV’s Pokernight No. 10, where she won and was the first female player to make the final table, fifth place at CAPT Graz, and several CAPT Bregenz cashes.  So far she has over $270,000 in career tournament winnings.
