It is no secret that Black Friday caused massive questioning from online poker players from not only the United States but all around the world as well. PokerStars has manned up and was able to allow players from outside of the U.S. to withdrawal. And then recently they even let U.S. players cash out everything. This is something FullTilt Poker cannot claim themselves.

So what about FullTilt Poker and their status? As many are aware they keep postponing certain updates in regards to when cash outs will be available although they have kept a decent sized Q&A on their website. One thing for sure is that FullTilt finally looks to be heading in somewhat of the right direction.

A good amount of FullTilt players were pleasantly surprised to see an e-mail stating they had received money from the site. Most were in the form of $5 or $25. Unfortunately, FullTilt failed to explain why their players were receiving the money. Some detective posters at the 2+2 forum figured out why.

There was a promotion that never quite ended before April 15 called the “Take Two Bonus”. For players that completed it, they received $25, and those who hadn’t received $5. This is a nice gesture but still a little too confusing on FullTilt’s part.

Also, keep in mind that other players received different amounts other than $5 or $25. This is because certain bonuses such as being part of the leaderboard and a final rakeback payment. This is obviously a great step in the right direction in both ensuring that FullTilt Poker has enough funds to pay each player their money as well as foreshadowing withdrawals in the (near) future. It will be interesting to see how soon they get the ball rolling!
