PokerStars’ newest poker tour, the Eureka Poker Tour, plans to bring poker to Central and Eastern Europe. The next stop is the beautiful Golden Sands resort in Varna, Bulgaria and PokerStars is giving you plenty of chances to win a seat to the main event.
PokerStars will be running freeroll and low buy-in satellites from now until June 18th for players to qualify for the main event satellite. For as little as €1.10, players will have a chance to be entered into the €800 Golden Sands main event. Players will compete for a prize package is worth €1,400, which includes the €800 main event entry plus hotel accommodations and other expenses.
Your VIP status could help you qualify, as well. SilverStar or higher players can compete in a €3.30 satellite on Mondays & Thursdays, June 6, 9, 13, 16 for their chance to qualify. GoldStar or higher can compete in the €11 on Tuesdays, June 7, 14.
Not only is PokerStars offering these cash buy-in tournaments to reward VIP status, but they are also offering FPP buy in tournaments for certain VIP statuses. The Eureka Golden Sands SilverStar+ VIP Satellite will run twice daily from May 30-June 4 for just 750 FPP. PokerStars will also hold a SilverStar or higher tournament for 7,500 FPPs and a PlatinumStar or higher satellite for 10,000 FPPs where one Eureka Golden Sands prize package for every 119,000 FPPs in the prizepool + 1 package added will be given away.
If you don’t have the VIP status or haven’t been lucky enough to climb the ladder through the low buy-in satellites, PokerStars is also offering €6.60, €33 and €162 tournaments that are direct entry satellites. To find these tournaments in the PokerStars lobby, simply click ‘Events’ > ‘Special’ > ‘All’ to see a list of all the satellites available.
