TL;DW Cliff Notes

Part 1
– Overall, the first 30 minutes is pretty soft and there is not much new or interesting information.
– Lederer states not knowing anything about how player funds were handled, but mentions early on during Full Tilt’s launch keeping segregated accounts for player deposits “wasn’t of a real concern”.
– A group of owners did not like Ray Bitar and wanted him removed, including but not limited to John Juanda and Perry Friedman.
– Lederer claims Chris Ferguson was always against paying shareholders, wasn’t greedy and didn’t care about the money, even though he ended up receiving $70 million of the $444 million paid out.

Yesterday, PokerNews.com reported that Howard Lederer finally agreed to break his silence to do an in depth interview. Needless to say, this created quite the buzz.

It was on September 8th that Lederer sat down with Matthew Pravis from PokerNews, answering questions for nearly seven hours. Pravis made it clear that he was not interested in doing a soft ball type interview to make Lederer look good, so we can only hope that all of our questions are answered and we get to the bottom of (probably) the most hated man in poker.

Poker News plans on releasing the videos in seven different 30 minute segments, with part one and two released early this morning on September 18th. We will keep everyone updated as the videos are released and we learn more! Check back soon!
