Another day gone by, and another great event in the books! This time it was the 2009 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) event #27, $25000+$500 USD Hold’em No Limit Heads-Up. That’s $25 THOUSAND DOLLARS to buy in, so you could be assured that the field for this particular event was comprised entirely of the best of the best in all of online poker. These guys are good, and they know what they are doing. All the current biggest names in the game showed up, including Olivier “Adonis112” Busquet, skilled_sox, and Sorel “zangbezan24” Mizzi (each of these three also had cashes in the other big HU event that ran before this one, the 2009 WCOOP Event #24), Sami “Lrslzk” Kelopuro, RunThisTable, Traheho, feared HU player Iftarii, takechip, ThePokerBody, Apathy123, Genius28, stevesbets, our own Nutsinho, Chris “Money800” Moneymaker, Daniel “KidPoker” Negreanu, Barry “barryg1” Greenstein, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier Zugwat, and Tom “Holdem_NL” & “Durrrr” Dwan. Only 36 players would show up, and this events prize pool despite having so few entrants was a massive $900,000.
Hand coverage begins with 8 remaining.
8th: My hero shows how its done, sending youngest ever main event champ to the rail.
