Our article yesterday highlighted a great day for Viktor Blom, with him winning over $1.4million on the Full Tilt tables. He seemed to take some time off to recover, and was back at the tables today before the Super High Roller in Monaco today. I hope Viktor is taking some time off to relax, and think about the sunny beaches and palm trees outside the Casino and Hotel he’s staying in while in Monte Carlo.

2-7TD was the name of the game yesterday, and Viktor played at the 6-Max tables against opponents  including Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond and “Kagome Kagome.” Viktor played 767 hands at the $1.5/$3k limits, and ended up losing $216,769, with the majority of that apparently going to “Kagome Kagome.” Blom and Kagome also had a little one on one action going on, and the $66,748 he lost here is part of the losses above.

We caught some of the action for you to enjoy in the following video:

Viktor also played some FLO8 yesterday and split the action between two heads up opponents.

He played 436 hands against the enigmatic “SallyWoo,” someone who we’d all really like to know more about. The action was split over two sessions, with the first being over 176 hands. Viktor lost just under 10 big bets, which we can probably assign to variance. The second session however was over 260 hands, and cost Viktor $103,056 to take his total loss to Sally to $142,847.

Blom’s other FLO8 opponent was Watch regular Kyle “KPR16” Ray, and again they played two sessions over the day. The first session was a micro sized session with only 16 hands played. Viktor was ahead after these hands to the tune of $6,998. the second session the meat to this action, and saw Viktor and Kyle play 454 hands. Ray came out ahead, but only to the tune of about 20 Big bets as Viktor lost $81,892.

The only other action of the day was atop of the NLHE table named “Mount Doom.” It was a $500/$1000 $30k cap table, and the villain was “ragen79” who may have an old account, but seems to have only started playing on Full Tilt in the past 30 days. Over 46 hands, “ragen” was able to take $74,000 out of Viktor’s online bankroll. We caught some of the hands, and have a nice little video to help keep you entertained:

So, if we tot up all the numbers, Sunday cost our Swedish Hero $344,726, which is a bit of a come down from the million plus day on Saturday. It nudges his yearly figures down to $4,188,199, so he won’t be too disappointed just yet.

The day wasn’t great for Viktor, he consistently lost money at the 2-7TD tables, and probably should have stopped playing those games early in the day. The heads up battles may not have all gone the way of Mr Blom, but he didn’t seem to spew that much, and seemed to be on top of his losing streaks, limiting them to a reasonable level. If Viktor has spiralled, it could have been so much worse. Days like this are going to happen, but this might be the best Viktor could have done with what he had.

Viktor is playing the €100k Super High Roller at the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo today, so his appearance online is most likely dependant on how that goes. FTR is hosting the stream, so feel free to pop over to watch the action.
