Today’s Isildur1 Watch is a little later than usual, as we had to wait for Viktor to stop playing! As I write this, he has just finished a 19 hour session, and I hope for his sake, he’s headed to bed.

After recent disappointments, Viktor seemed to start out having a good day. In a change from his usual habits, Blom sat at several $1.5k/$3k 6-Max 2-7TD tables. This game attracted players of the calibre of Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond, Patrik “FinddaGrind” Antonius and Scott “mastrblastr” Seiver. The 2-7TD specialist “Seb86” was also playing, as was the new high stakes phenomenon “punting-peddler.”

With 4 tables of this unusual game running, we only caught a few hands, but we’ve combined them to give you a taste of how Viktor managed to come out ahead $322,829.

With a quick 6 hand flirting session with 2-7TD against “PostflopAction” costing him $12k, Isildur was mainly concentrating on his $200/$400 PLO battle with “Sauce1234.” With Viktor eating into the previous profits on the day to the tune of $184,147, the hour and a bit session couldn’t have been fun. We only caught a few hands at these 6-Max tables, and this one was the pick of the bunch.

With really short 2 hand session of $1.5k/$3k 2-7TD winning him $10,500, Isildur jumped into a heads up match against Patrik “FinddaGrind” Antonius at a $1.5k/$3k 2-7TD game.

Blom dropped $80,928 to the former FTP Red Pro, and with most of the big pots going to the Finnish player, the big movement of chips was mainly in one direction:

At the same time Viktor was playing Patrik, he was also at a $2k/$4k FLO8 table, playing Kyle “KPR16” Ray. With most of the big pots either going to Blom, or being split, Viktor pulled out a nice profit of $125,930.

After these two sessions had ended, our Swedish Hero jumped into a game against Scott Seiver at another $1.5k/$3k 2-7TD table. Over the 90 hand session, most of the big post went in Viktor’s direction, and eve though the 2 biggest pots headed to Seiver, Blom came out with a $105,732 gain. Here is the biggest hand to go Viktor’s way:

Viktor then jumped over to yet another 2-7TD hand at the max level. We didn’t catch any hands, but we now it was a re-match against Scott Seiver,  and he managed to make an additional £38,206 profit. Blom was also playing “KPR16” on another FLO8 table, at the same stakes as previously. Here Viktor wasn’t as fortunate, and dropped $62,500 to the American Limit Specialist. We managed to catch a few of these hands:

Viktor then went back to the PLO tables playing at the 6-Max $200/$400 games. With a large portion of this time the action being just between Blom and “trex313” Viktor pulled out a profit of $68,105. We caught some of the action:

I thought I’d finished this account on Isildur’s play, but as I type this, he’s back at the tables, and I have no idea how long he’s planning to play for. I’ll do my best to bring you all the action in tomorrow’s Isildur1 Watch.

At the point I’ve stopped this account, Isildur was up $331,278, and had improved his profit for the year to about $1.4 Million.

You can still get in the action against Viktor Blom at the Full Tilt “Challenge Tables,” and if you haven’t taken advantage of the exclusive FTR Welcome Bonus*, you can download the Full Tilt Client here.

I’m off to continue to stalk my favourite Swede, but I’ll be back, and I’ll bring you more news when I am.
