Today, I think Viktor may be feeling a little Dizzy, as the spirals in his mind appear to have come back out to play. In fact I may have seen less spirals in strands of DNA, as yesterday seemed to see Viktor prepare for replication via Mitosis, and split into pieces. yesterday was a spiral staircase in the world of Isildur1, where it ended up, I’ll leave for a little later.

His day started off against Ike “IluvtheWNBA” Haxton, and the Heads up speacialist can never be described as an easy spot, and was able to win over €1 Million recently in the mega cash game at the EPT Grand Final. The two only clashed over 70 hands of $500/$1000 $30k Cap NLHE, and Viktor was able to win $44,328.We have some of the action from his matchup in the video below:

The next game Viktor played, and to be honest continued to play all through the day, was FLO8. He stared off against “SalllyWoo” at a single table for 141 hands.  The result wasn’t in Viktor’s favour with him handing over $126,032 to the enigmatic player in the final balance. Viktor heading away from FLO8 for while after this and drifted over to the $100/$200 PLO tables where he was met by Tom “durrrr” Dwan. Dwan was not in a charitable mood, and over the next 369 hands crushed Blom for $345,598. We missed all the juicy parts of this action as we had concentrated on the high stakes. Don’t worry, Dwan shows up later.

Next stop was the 2-7TD tables, with Viktor playing both Heads up against “Kagome Kagome” and sitting at 6-Max tables against various high stakes players. Viktor may have lost $76,695 to Kagome, but 2-7TD was overall more kindly to the Swede, and he ended up beating the game for a daily profit of $50,737. We caught some of the action, and have a nice little video for you below:

Recently the $500/$1000 $40k cap PLO tables have been the preserve of a mutual daily head butting exercise by Viktor Blom and Benn “Bttech86” Tollerene. Yesterday saw others getting in on the action, and we started to see some full tables, and a hell of a lot of money flying back and forth. Viktor was involved in this action, and although he was only involved in 315 hands, he lost $176,167, some of it to Tom Dwan who was heavily involved in these games along with Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond, Gus Hansen and Tollerene among others. We have some of the action in the video handily situated below.

Sunday ended with Viktor down $835,498, which has taken his yearly profit line down to $3,249,772.

This is the first time in a while we’ve seen Viktor Blom spiral out of control. Viktor only saw black ink on his profit line after his matchup with Ike, everything else was very firmly painted in red, and seemed to represent a Wall Street crash.

Viktor was offered several get out clauses, and could have left the client with some dignity several times (my personal choice would have been after winning at 2-7TD).

Days like this are why Viktor’s considered a soft target at the high stakes, and have to be considered his biggest leak. No player can be expected to make a profit everyday, it’s just not reasonable. What a good player should be looking to do is limit his/her losses on days like yesterday. As good as Viktor is at working out games, and players tendencies, he still needs to improve this part of his game in order to really maximise on his other skills.
