It’s time for another Isildur1 Watch, which means that Viktor Blom still isn’t in Las Vegas for some reason. He is still working on taking apart the competition left on Full Tilt Poker, as the majority of the high stakes community enjoys the summer in Las Vegas at the World Series Of Poker. I’m still wondering why Viktor hasn’t gone to join in what is essentially the only time the high stakes community gets in one place every year. The private games in Vegas must be crazy this time of year.

Mr Blom started his day of work playing at a $200/$400 $16k Cap PLO table with the villain at the table being Macau resident, “samrostan.” They played for 41 hands and Viktor was the one to come out ahead, as he had won $72,992 from the unknown Chinese poker player.

Next up was “Trueteller” at the $500/$1000 $30K Cap heads up games. These two played two double table sessions totalling 674 hands of poker.

The first of these sessions earned Viktor $76,621 from 370 hands as he started taking control of the session as he took profits from both tables. The second session wasn’t as beneficial for Viktor, only giving him a $7,575 profit from the remaining 263 hands. We have some of the action in the video below:

“SallyWoo” was the next victim for the Viktor Blom stream roller, and the two played two different sessions, one just after the games against “Trueteller,” and one at the end of his day. The first was 81 hands of delicious profit for Blom, earning $118,976 for the Swede. The second session, which also closed out Viktor’s working day was over a mere 52 hands, and added $96,986 to Viktor’s profit for the day. You’ll find a video of some of the more interesting hands in the video below:

Between the two sessions against “SallyWoo,” Viktor sat down again at the $200/$400 $16k Cap tables. With four tables up at the same time, Viktor was looking for as much action as he could find. 864 hands of action involved Viktor playing against “samrostan,” POKERBLUFFS” and “Vega_Lion.” Blom lost $51,918, with most of it seemingly going to “samrostan.” We have some of the bigger hands in the video below so you can get a feel how the action went.

So, with all the action wrapped up for the day, Viktor Blom had posted a $321,232 profit for the day, bumping his yearly profit number to $3,361,835, putting him $250k ahead of Kyle “cottonseed1” Hendon in second place.

Monday was a decent day for our friend Viktor, he turned a decent profit, and only flirted with spiralling out of control. The flirting happened with the $200/$400 $16k Cap PLO, when Viktor played a large session, and saw a table loss exceed $120K. with the small profits he saw on the other tables, he only lost about $51k in that session, but he was horribly close to spiralling out of control in my opinion.

His control is getting better, so much so in the recent past, I have started to think he may have a Mental Game Yoda sitting in the bole of a tree in his garden, dispensing gems of advice in cryptic comments.
