The best keeps getting better: Pokerstars excellent poker client keeps getting more and more new features and updates of old ones, resulting in a spectacular poker experience for you, the player. These are some of the more recent features:
Time Zone selection: make your choice between Eastern Time (ET, UTC-5) and Central European Time (CET, UTC+1). More time zones will be added in the near future.
To adjust your preferred time zone, you have to use the “Options” > “Time Zone Settings” menu option in the Pokerstars Client Software, or click once on the lobby clock.
Steps Tournaments: All of the popular “Steps” tournaments have been combined now into a single system. Tickets from any of the previous “Steps” systems are valid for entry into the new “Steps” at the appropriate level.
Step 4 tickets, which are worth $215, can now also be used to enter any tournament of a $215 buy-in fee, including the Sunday Million, Sunday Warm-Up, and Sunday Second Chance.
You can find these wonderful “Steps” tournaments in the “Sit & Go” > “Satellite” > “Steps” tab in the Pokerstars Client Software.
Improved “Find a Player” Function: This function has been greatly improved with some useful new features.
You can now search for more than one player at the same time, refresh the search results while searching, and open more than one table without closing the Player Search window, and a whole lot more.
