FTR is breaking down the biggest and best poker players on the planet. We tried to do the top 10, but they would not fit…

#5 Tomer Benvenisti
Tomer Benvenisti

Big Tomer Benvenisti is best known for his 4th place finish at the World Series of Poker Main Event. After his $325,000 score, Benvenisti fell flat. In fact, he has not cashed in a live event in nearly two years. Perhaps he eats his poker chips during live tournaments.

#4 Todd Brunson
Todd Brunson

Todd Brunson, son of the legendary Doyle Brunson, isn’t one to refuse a bacon cheeseburger or two or three. Brunson is a tad husky but that doesn’t diminish his skills at the table. He has amassed over $3 million in live tournament winnings. Todd has also appeared on Game Show Network’s High Stakes Poker.

#3 Alan Meltzer
Alan Meltzer

Alan Meltzer is a successful entrepreneur and amateur player. His interest in high stakes poker piqued when he took $30,000 off Johnny Chan at the Commerce Casino. No word on if Chan was wearing one of his ballin’ tiger shirts that night. Meltzer has appeared on High Stakes Poker and NBC’s Poker After Dark. You can hear him breathing audibly on both programs.

#2 Scott Fischman

Scott “Sevennnnnnnnnnnnnnn” Fischman has ballooned over the years. When Fischman was skinny he was part of “The Crew”, a group of poker players that included Dutch Boyd and Brett Jungblut. To his credit, Fischman owns two WSOP bracelets and has cashed in 11 total WSOP events. His live event winnings exceed $2.6 million.

#1 Greg Raymer
Greg Raymer

Greg Raymer is large and in charge. The 2004 World Series of Poker fended off two robbers just months after his victory. To date, Raymer has accumulated nearly $7 million in live tournament winnings. Recently, Raymer was dropped from Team PokerStars Pro.
