The competitive nature of poker (and yes, even online poker), is no big secret. This spirited atmosphere dates back all the way to the 1800s with the birth of a rough form of what we know as poker today. We view many of our opponents as friends or enemies, but the best kinds of friends, are the fish in this sea called poker. We here at FTR thought it would be interesting to keep track of the competitive side of things by posting a weekly commentary regarding Full Tilt’s Tournament Leaderboards.
Full Tilt updates leaderboards each day for Multi-Table Tournaments, SNG (High Limit), and SNG (Low Limit.) Players can use a point calculator to figure out how many points they’ll receive for participating in a particular tournament. Various prizes are awarded each month for those who rank on their leaderboard. Cash prizes, tournament buy-ins, and satellite tokens are given to the top 200 Multi-Table Tournament players. The top 100 Sit & Go players will be awarded up to 20 Sit & Go buy-ins.

Leaderboards are a great way to see how players match up each month. Which players will consistently earn a place on the board? Which players land a spot merely through a stroke of luck? Watch the boards and visit our blogs, we’ll separate those one-hit wonders from the money-making powerhouses!
Hi mricket – a couple of things – first off, could you please rename your blog from the default name – maybe something mricket’s blog or something similar, right now it just says My Blog.
We’re actually tracking Full Tilt’s leaderboard info. At the very bottom of our Full Tilt poker room review, you’ll see a calendar. If you click on any day, you’ll see the day’s player volumes and the leaderboards at that time. Here’s a link for yesterday (Dec. 16):

You can refer to these on future analysis when comparing months!
