You can’t be a billionaire if you’re busto so here are a few Blackjack tips.
First, you have to know when to hit. One of the best times to hit is when you have a soft 13 – 17 and the dealer is showing a 7 or higher. A soft hand contains an ace and another card so it’s impossible to bust when you hit because your Ace can be played as a 1 or 11.
Next, ensure you know when it’s time to grow a pair and double down. It’s time to double down when your cards add up to nine or higher and the dealer is showing 3-6. Another spot to double down is when your cards equal 10 and the dealer has a 2 – 9 showing. There are also several spots to double down with soft aces. For example, if you have A2 or A3 and the dealer has a 5 or 6, if you are dealt A4 or A5 and the dealer’s up card is a 4-6, and finally if you have A6 and the dealer is showing 3-6.
Finally, you have to know when to sit back and let the dealer bust. It’s good strategy to stand on 12 if the dealer is showing a 4 – 6 because the house is likely to bust. You should also stand on 13 if dealer’s up card is a 2,3,4,5, or 6.
