Let’s get right down to it. I made $1500 in November at the pokers and I’ve played about 5k hands of breakeven-ish poker this month. I don’t play enough, and that’s my fault.

A few things, I think I’m gonna get me a new computer, probably a Dell if they can get my XP on it with another 204b Monitor which will be a sweet poker setup. I’m hoping to playover 200k hands in 2008 if not a lot more. I need to learn to 8table 6max but my game has to get better first. If I can 8table that’s ~3k hands in a 4hr session which would mean a couple sessions a week could help me easily pass my goals. Another goal would be to make $25k+ from poker if I keep working and obviously $50k+ if I decide to quit and play poker in the mean time. Frankly I need to play more and make more, so here’s hoping 2008 is more profitable than 2007 (I think I made somewhere around $8k which is the suck, but not bad for somewhere around 90k hands of NL starting at 10nl)

And finally, I read an inspirational quote the other day:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others”
