After outlasting an astonishingly large field in Full Tilt Poker’s MiniFTOPS Event #32, norajean is basking in the sweet smell of success.

Beginning on September 19 at 13:03 ET, this $300,000 guaranteed tournament went into the wee hours of the morning before wrapping at 00:24 ET on September 20. Hosted by Michael Tureniec, this $24+2 event saw 16,572 players ante up for a chance at one of the biggest prize pots in the latest running of Full Tilt’s MiniFTOPS. The massive enrollment totals bested the guaranteed money by $31,440, bringing the final tally to just under a third of a million dollars.

The rules of this event were quite intriguing. Starting with 5,000 chips, players were treated to ultra-low 10/20 blinds. Further increasing the action was the 6-Max table sizes, which allowed players to get a more precise bead on their opponents. Upping the aggression ante even further was the $4 knockout bonuses offered to players who eliminated their fellow competitors.

Here’s how the final table turned out:

#1 – norajean ($49,198.95)
#2 – Deal_M3_In ($32,812.56)
#3 – The_Skiller1 ($22,869.56)
#4 – Quayley14 ($14,749.08)
#5 – fainoadonkey ($9,446.04)
#6 – Frasso10 ($6,529.37)

All told, 2,100 players made the money. Vitaly Lunkin made the top finish among the pros, winding up at 234th place and earning $175.66 for his effort. Erich Kollmann also made bank, finishing 1,096th and gaining $39.77. The only other Red member to make the cut was Hulya Pehlivan, whose 1,911th place berth was worth $29.83.

As one would expect with such a high enrollment total, there were several pros who went away disappointed. Among them were Chris Klecz (2,513th), Dave Colclough (2,650th), Cydny Violette (3,062nd), Scott Fischman (3,210th), David Pham (3,931st), and Andrew Black (6,601st). Host Michael Tureniec finished far out of the money, after being eliminated in 7,478th.
