Titan Poker announces the seven man line-up of its 2010/11 pro poker team.

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM(Marketwire – May 6, 2010) On Monday May 3rd, Titan Poker announced the seven man line-up of its 2010 professional poker team, known as Team Titan.  Led by rising Canadian poker star Sorel Mizzi, who will be serving as the team’s captain for the duration of their 12 month contract, the seven sponsored players include some of Europe’s hottest poker talent – both on and offline. Among them, Marvin Rettenmaier (Germany), Jonas Klausen (Denmark), Yann Brosolo (France), Sam Trickett (England), Joel Benzinou (Belgium) and Florian Desgouttes (France).

All of the new Team Titan players are on poker’s ‘ones to watch’ list, but at only 24 years of age, Mizzi leads the team both in experience and earnings. His current total stands at over $2.7 million, of which $1,140,204 was earned in the first four months of 2010 alone. Next up is Danish pro Jonas Klausen, with $ 841,083 in total winnings. Klausen has made a name for himself by successfully migrating between both on and offline poker play.

As part of their sponsorship contract, scheduled until the end of May 2011, the Team Titan members will represent Titan Poker at prestigious offline tournaments all around the world.

The outgoing team of 2009 included Jan Bjoersland (Denmark), Fabien Carliez (France), Jose Manual Gomez Rebenaque (Spain), Massimiliano Tamburini (Italy), Slobodan Savic (Serbia), Andreas Schmidt (Germany) and Adam York (England).
