Student only event to take place in March 2011 and winner will represent students in Irish Open 2011
5th November 2010 – PaddyPowerPoker.com today launches the very first PaddyPowerPoker.com Student Masters, a student only poker event which will take place in the Jackpot Card Club, Dublin on Saturday 19th March 2011. The €100 + €10 NLH Freezeout event will be open to anyone aged 18+ with a valid student card at the time of the event. All entry fee’s will go towards the prize pool and in addition PaddyPowerPoker.com will award a €3,500 Irish Open 2011 ticket to the winner of the Student Masters 2011.
There are a number of ways students can acquire their seat in the Student Masters event on paddypowerpoker.com:
* Freeroll tournament will be held on the 1st Tuesday of every month from now until March with two Student Masters seats up for grabs each time.
* Online satellites are now running on PaddyPowerPoker.com, with a €10 Freezeout event held each Monday and a €2 Rebuy event held each Thursday.
* Players can buy in to the Student Masters event directly via the PaddyPowerPoker.com client for €110.
