On June 1, Full Tilt proudly announced its newest addition to the elite Team Full Tilt – Patrik Antonius. With his outstanding record and achievements, it’s no wonder this rising star was asked to join Team Full Tilt with the legends of Andy Bloch, Allen Cunningham, Chris Ferguson, Phil Gordon, Gus Hansen, Jennifer Harman, Phil Ivey, John Juanda, Howard Lederer, Erick Lindgren, Mike Matusow, and Erik Seidel. Antonius said, “As everyone knows, Team Full Tilt has all the top pros in the world and I’m honored to now be a member of such a legendary team.”

Antonius has a career track record of 11 World Series of Poker cash finishes, seven World Poker Tour cash finishes, and one European Poker Tour title. That’s pretty impressive, and is probably why, at 27, he’s the youngest poker pro to ever be invited to Team Full Tilt.

Antonius credits entry into a World Series of Poker via satellite early in his career and advice from pros as essential in his development.

When not at the table, Antonius spend his time with his fiancée and daughter and playing a good game of tennis.

In 2002, Antonius took his poker playing to the next level by beginning his professional career. Prior, he enjoyed playing poker with this friends and didn’t become serious until he started playing online. Now he has over $2.8 million in career tournament winnings. Perhaps this is a good tip for the starting poker rookie. Sharpen your skills online, and if you play at Bovada, you can play any of the pros there. If you’re really looking for challenge, look for Antonius or any of the Team Full Tilt players.
