Week two of January saw massive changes in the PokerStars MTT Leaderboard as only one member of last week’s top three managed to hold onto a top ten position. blumenkind53 slipped three spots to settle into fourth place after week two, while e4e5nf3nc6 fell from his second place perch to 13th and AABenjaminAA plummeted from 3rd all the way to 32nd.
At third place in the monthly leaderboard after week two of January was jonyctt who must have had a spectacular week as he wasn’t even ranked in the top 100 last week. At second place this week is buller00 who showed he is consistent and pushed up slightly from his 5th place ranking last week. Yet another huge mover this week is the now number one spot on the leaderboard, VerySexual. Like jonyctt, VerySexual did not break the top 100 players last week but managed to shoot up to the lead position to end this week.
It is still anybody’s race though, as less than 1500 points are separating first place and tenth. At the top of the board, there is less than 150 points separating VerySexual in first and buller00 in second. Only next week’s play will let us know if VerySexual will be able to hold onto his place atop the leaderboard or if buller00 will continue his steady climb and take the lead. Then again, last week’s leader blumenkind53 could make another surge and easily catch up as he trails by less than 800 points.
