We’re only a few short months away from the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure! Every January, PokerStars hosts one of the world’s largest live tournaments down in the Bahamas, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure! PokerStars has officially released the 2012 PCA schedule, which promises to be one of the most exciting tournaments of 2012. It features massive payouts in their Main Event and High Roller tournaments, as well as the beautiful scenery of the Atlantis Hotel and Resort on Paradise Island!
Action takes place from January 5th-14th this year, the PCA’s ninth iteration. The $10,000 Main Event kicks of January 7th-13th. Last year’s winner, Stanford Student, and Poker Pro Galen Hall won $2.3 Million for taking home the Main Event Championship! Last year’s Main Event prize pool was in excess of $15 Million!
The PokerStars Carribean Adventure also features the $100K buy-in super high roller. Last year it was won by Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov for $1.5 Million, after beating poker star Daniel Negreanu heads up!

Forty one events in total are scheduled to take place during the massive 10 day festival! Along with the Main Event and Super High Roller, there is also a $25,000 High Roller Event, as well as a $1,100 ladies event in which TV host Rikki Lake took third in 2011! This 10 day poker festival features a who’s who of big names in the poker world including most of Team PokerStars Pro, including Vanessa Selbst and Jason Mercier! Last year featured a high stakes heads up match between PokerStars pros Swede Viktor Blom and Frenchman Elky Grospellier! Also running will be side festivities, such as world class fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, world class dining and much more!
