PokerStars, the biggest online poker site in the world, recently announced their upcoming MicroMillions tournament series. They are looking to make this tournament series the most inclusive online tournament series ever. Players of every bankroll will be able to register into any of the MicroMillions’ 100 events which carry a total of $5 million guaranteed. Those with large bankrolls will be interested in playing in tournaments with huge buy-ins compared to their small buy-ins.
The MicroMillions will kick off on March 15th at 12:00 EST. The inaugural tournament is a $0.11 buy-in, 6-max tournament with rebuys enabled. This tournament will carry a $25,000 guarantee which is huge considering the tiny buy-in. Tournaments will continue to be played each and every day until March 25th with up to ten tournaments played per day. Tournaments will run at the following times on most days: 01:30ET, 04:00ET, 06:00ET, 08:30ET, 10:00ET, 12:00ET, 13:30ET, 15:30ET, 17:00ET, and 21:00ET. The MicroMillions will reach its pinnacle at with its $1 million guarantee Main Event. The Main Event only costs $22 to enter and will award at least $150,000 to the winner.
Even though the buy-ins to the MicroMillions are tiny, PokerStars is running satellites to enter these tournaments. These tournaments only cost a few FPP or a fraction of a dollar to enter. Players looking to get into the MicroMillions for ultra-cheap should look into these tournaments.
