It’s time for another milestone at PokerStars. The online poker giant will be celebrating their 40 billionth hand dealt. Prizes will be awarded to cash game, sit & go, and multi-table tournament players. Additionally, PokerStars will be hosting their biggest ever Sunday Million tournament this month.
Cash prizes will be awarded on all cash game tables as PokerStars leads up to the 40 billion Mega Milestone hand. Prizes will be awarded every millionth hand to all players dealt into the pot. Players will be awarded $40 for every VPP earned over their previous 40 hands played at the table. An extra VPP will be awarded for all players dealt into the hand so everybody dealt into a millionth hand will win a minimum of $40! Also, the winner of the hand will get their cash prize doubled! When PokerStars reaches its 40 billionth hand Mega Milestone, all players dealt will into the hand will be awarded $400 for every VPP earned in the previous 40 hands at the table. Again, the winner of the hand will have their prize doubled!
There will be special 40-man Super Sit & Go tournaments for PokerStars’ sit & go players. These tournaments will run all day from February 14 through February 21. These tournaments will have $1.10, $11, $22, and $55 buy-ins. The winner of each tournament will get a slice of $40,000 to be shared between all winners at each buy-in level. For example, say 900 $11 Super Sit & Go tournaments were played between February 14 and February 21. If you win one tournament, you will be awarded an extra $44.44 ($40,000/900) at the end of that time. If you win four tournaments, you will be awarded $177.76. These F40 Super Sit & Go’s are located in the PokerStars lobby (Sit & Go > All).
PokerStars will host a variety of special tournaments for its multi-table tournament players. Special F40 FPP tournaments will have a prize pool of $40,000 with an entry fee of 40 FPPs. The start times will alternate between 13:40 ET and 21:40 ET each day. A special Micro Million $1,000,000 guaranteed tournament will take place at 14:30 ET on Sunday, February 14th. For a buy-in of $40, you can win a piece of a guaranteed $1,000,000 prize pool. As if that weren’t enough, PokerStars will be celebrating the fourth anniversary of the Sunday Million on February 21st by boosting the prize pool to a mammoth $4,000,000. The first place winner will be taking home at least $1,000,000! The Sunday Million will start at its standard time (16:30 ET) and will have the standard $215 buy-in.
